The blue seahorse is a small, elusive marine fish found in shallow tropical waters. They are known for their unique appearance, with a bony external skeleton, a horse-like head, and a prehensile tail.They are also able to change colors to blend in with their surroundings. Seahorses are monogamous and the males are the ones that carry and give birth to their young, which can number in the hundreds. Sadly, the blue seahorse is considered a vulnerable species due to habitat loss and overfishing.
