Violaceous is a 7.5 ct Arizona Fire Agate, with overtones of lavender, violet, green and gold. The name is descriptive of it’s lucious violet iridescence. The stone’s dimentions are 9/16″ x 1/2.”

Fire agate is found only in the southwestern U.S.A. and in northern Mexico. Fire Agates have a hardness of 6.5-7 on the MOHS scale so these irridescent rainbow colored stones are extremely durable.This remarkable stone is 3/4″ long and 5/8″ high and would be suitable set in either a pendant or a ring design.
